Step 1: Visit the Sarathi website. Step 2: Select the State. Step 3: The selected state portal will open. Step 4: Select Services on Driving Licence. Step 5: Click on Continue. Step 6: Enter Driving Licence number and Date of birth and click on get DL details. Step 7: Applicant Name with few other details will be displayed. Step 8: Select apply to State and RTO and click on Proceed. Step 9: Details of the Driving Licence page is displayed. Step 10: Verify the applicant details and click on Confirm to proceed. Step 11: DL services page is displayed, select the required service checkbox, and click on Proceed. Step 12: Fill Request Details Step 13: An acknowledgement form is generated with the Applicant information and the service requested. Step 14: Click on Next to proceed. Step 15: Click on Upload Documents then click on the Next button. Step 17: Select the DL SLOT BOOK and click on Next to move to the next page for booking the slot. Step 18: Check the applicant details and select the class of a vehicle and click on Proceed to book. Step 19: Click on the available dates to get a suitable time slot on the right side and then click on Book slot. Step 20: Check the details about the appointment and click on Confirm to proceed. A text message will be sent to your registered mobile number. Step 21: Take a print out of the Provisional appointment letter on the screen then click on Next. Step 22: Select the Fee Payment and click on Next to continue for fee payment Step 23: Read the instructions and select Click here to continue ePayment. Step 24: Enter the captcha and click on Pay Now. Step 25: Enter bank details then Click on Continue. Step 26: After successful payment, Print Receipt to generate payment receipt. You will receive the new Driving License with the amendments at your address in a few days. A driving license is not a mere document but a proof of identity in the form of a smart card.
